With our focus these days on Diversity in general, and on the contribution of Women specifically, a question springs to mind: what do these 3 super experienced women have in common (apart from all being mums)?:

Janine Lu Watson

• Lives in the UK

• Fluent in English and Cantonese

• Former COO of a med-tech company and lawyer for magic circle law firm in London, New York, and Singapore

• Helped negotiate multi-million dollar deals between Asia and the UK

• Was named one of ’20 Women to Watch in Business right now’

• 4 times Scottish weightlifting champion

• Regular DJ at corporate, fashion, and fitness events

Rebekah James

• Lives in Hong Kong

• Fluent in English and Welsh

• Read live BBC Radio News for 10 years

• Had her own live daily radio show, ‘Beks’, for BBC Cymru for 9 years

• Presented the BAFTA Wales Awards

• Interviewed many celebrities, including Victoria Beckham and Robbie Williams

• Has run marathons in New York, London, Berlin, Chicago, and in Boston 2024

Naoko MacDonald

• Lives in Japan

• Fluent in English and Japanese

• Teacher, trainer, facilitator, for corporates and education institutes across APAC for 25 years

• Outward Bound Instructor and Project Adventure Facilitator

• Leads annual winter expeditions to the Japanese Alps where students must build their own igloos to sleep in

• Been climbing in the Himalayas, cycling across the European Alps, canoed right across the Canadian Lakes

• In 2023, spent one month canoeing in the Artic Circle, encountering Musk Oxen, Polar Bears, Wolves, and Beluga Whales
