Tom is a trained teacher with experience in London and Zambia. He then moved into sales management and training in the hospitality business. He has been a negotiation consultant for 17 years and has worked with clients in 30 different countries. Operating from offices in Cape Town and London he offers a truly international perspective.
Tom's work falls into 3 categories: classroom training, live data consultancy and management coaching. This work centers on buyer/seller processes and negotiation. He has designed a systematic, easy to learn and implement approach for managers to do simple deals. Allied to this is a differentiated model looking at 6 relationship styles that balance cutting the deal more effectively with the maintenance of business relationships.
As a coach to negotiation teams Tom has regularly achieved outstanding results with a long record of success. His first book, "Business Negotiation" was published by Gower in May, 1999. His second book, "Great Negotiators" was published in 2006.
