New Product Launches

1999, Hong Kong:
 
A major insurance company asked Mark to help bring its entire sales force (over 100 people) up to speed in preparation for a new product launch. The target was to achieve 40% market share.
   
 
Mark drew up and facilitated a training programme that included 16 two-day workshops
   
 
One year later, the insurance company had achieved 60% market share.
   
 2002, Hong Kong:
 
A new international school (to be opened in 2004) decided to hold a Press Conference. David took the new Principal and Chairman of the Board of Governors through CONNECT's Media Handling programme.
   
 
The morning after the Press Conference, the schools hot line was inundated with over 320 enquiries from parents wishing to enrol their children.
   
 
After one month the phone was still ringing.
   
  2000, Beijing:
 
David and Hardy were asked by a leading Investment Bank to prepare the Chairman and key board members of a huge Chinese state owned corporation for their IPO roadshow.
   
 
After intensive coaching the results spoke for themselves. At the end of the final dress rehearsal the lead investment banker said "that has just added half a billion dollars to the valuation".

Conferences

1998, London:
 
Asked to speak at a major conference in London, the senior executive from Hong Kong was less than confident. He was short on time, lacking ideas, and feeling generally uninspired.
   
 
Mark took him through three 2-hour sessions.
   
 
The executive was voted the best speaker at the conference.
   
 2002, Macau:
 
A major international organisation was wanting to lift the level of presentations at its annual partners conference.
   
 
Following a series of workshops and individual coaching sessions with Mark, the key speakers did indeed treat their colleagues to something a bit special (and a lot different!) The word slides were replaced by creative graphics which drew praise from a grateful audience.
   
 
Mark has been booked in to prepare the speakers for next years conference.
   
  1999, London, Singapore:
 
An engineer in Hong Kong had been asked to give a presentation - first in London, then Singapore. He was not confident about speaking in front of such large audiences.
   
 
Following an intensive coaching programme, during which he not only found his own style, but also realised the benefits of using creative visuals, the engineer couldn't wait to deliver the presentation.
   
 
Several months later he phoned to say thank you - and good-bye. As a result of his successful talks he had been promoted to a senior position back in the UK.
